1- Who is Accurate Permanent Makeup?
Accurate Permanent Makeup is applied by a highly respected Acupuncture Physician, Dr. Marcelle Miller who has advanced training in permanent makeup services and eyelash extensions. Her main goal is to provide professional makeup treatments that can enhance facial features like eyebrows, lashes and lips and camouflage scars and/or areola enhancement post mastectomy.
2- What makes us special compared to other technicians?
The main thing that makes us special is the winning combination of our vast training in both acupuncture and all areas of cleanliness, sterilization techniques, as well as manual and machine micro pigmentation makeup. When you come to us you can rest assured that you get something truly professional and special.
3- Can anyone receive your treatment?
Definitely, our makeup service suits everyone who wants to improve their looks and image. Unless you suffer from a specific skin problem or medical condition, you can certainly enjoy our makeup technique.
4- What kind of training do I have?
My professional education is a Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine and advanced training in Micro Pigmentation from L'image International School of Permanent Makeup. Dr. Steven S. Crohn, M.D. is the school's Medical Director.. - My specialization includes:
- Rotary, and Manual Method
- Sterilization and Anesthetics
- Science of Color Theory
- Study of facial morphology to design Eyebrow, Eyeliner and lip for cosmetic tattoo
- Color removal and corrective camouflage
5- How will I look like everyday after my procedure?
You will look like yourself, except that you will have a professional makeup application look every single day: either mild /soft makeup or a dramatic appearance. The choice is yours. Prior to the procedure, we will guide you and provide professional advice. You will be shown exactly how you will look like at the end of the treatment. We will adapt the best look for you, according to your age and style, your facial structure and shape.
6- How do I know that I have chosen the right permanent makeup specialist?
The result of a makeup procedure will be as good as the person you choose. Ask as many questions as you can, making sure that you have chosen the right professional. Ask for references and testimonials from previous clients. Check training background, certifications, experience, liability insurance, and most important - REAL before and after pictures. Evaluate true results from a real professional. After all, it's about your face and about your look. Your deserve nothing but the best!
7- What are the hygienic conditions at Accurate Permanent Makeup?
We operate from a professional medical office facility and not from a condominium, home, or a storefront. You can be assured that we adhere to the highest standards of hygiene. Sanitary surroundings, disposable sterile needles ,surgical gloves and masks are used for each procedure. Accurate Permanent Makeup (Acupuncture Physicians) has received the recognition as a clinic that complies with the standards set by the Florida Department of Health in May 2002. All requirements were met and exceeded.
8- Which parts of the face and body can you apply pigments to?
You may apply pigments on your eyebrows, eyeliners, lip liner or full lip coloring, areolas, birthmarks and scars.
9- How long does the permanent makeup last?
The permanent makeup can last up to 5-6 years. However, the exact period varies according to your skin type, the area treated and the color chosen. The darker the color, the longer it lasts. Immediately after the treatment, the color appears dark; within 4 to 10 days the color fades up to 50%. Ultra-violate exposure from sun or tanning booths, various drugs, excessively oily skin, and smoking are all factors that may affect the color. It is essential that a sun block be applied over the permanent make-up area at any time that you are exposed to the sun or a tanning bed to prolong the effective life of these procedures.
10- Is there any discomfort during the treatment procedure?
Before and during the treatment we use topical anesthetics to numb the area and minimize discomfort. Most people describe a mild, gentle, plucking sensation, or feeling nothing at all. The amazing results and the long years of your great looking will certainly justify the slight discomfort.
11- Does the procedure involve any risks?
Not if you're going to a professional clinic like Accurate Permanent Makeup. You can face risks only if you get cosmetic tattooing by an untrained individual or team. Don't let a layperson implant your permanent makeup. If they use contaminated needles infection can happen . At Accurate Permanent Makeup we use the best quality products and all hygienic protocols are followed, all tools are sterile, and meet with health and safety standards.
12- How much does it cost?
Our fees vary from $250 to $550 per procedure, depending on the area and the amount of work involved. Skin camouflage is based on an hourly rate. Cheaper doesn't mean better! If the price is too low, maybe the technician is inexperienced, uses inferior products or does not have the proper training. If the color is incorrectly applied, it can be hard to remove it and it will cost even more to undo mistakes. Expensive doesn't mean better either! Some technicians charge more just because they are operating from a high end spa. Accurate Permanent Make up is in an established medical building with free ground level parking outside our front door.
